Mouse and keyboard control makes the game really easy though. I am playing GoldenEye 007 for the first time right now on a real N64 and I don't see why people want to play this with Keyboard and Mouse. For anyone complaining about the controls and emulation. Do your research first. There is no way I would do half these cheevos till I get a N64 usb adapter again. Lost mine years back. Ill need a new one. However, capturing the complexity of the N64 controller on a computer keyboard can be difficult. As such, many of these emulator programs rely solely on the use of a USB-compatible N64 controller. Though the option is not provided by these programs, it is possible to configure your keyboard and mouse as the controller by downloading.

Billiard26's excellent work on control plugins must make it possible. I am just wondering how it would work. WASD for movement of course, but can we map the mouse to the C-stick somehow?
EDIT: Something interesting about GoldenEye, it detects Gamecube controllers, so it actually interpreted my opening it in Dolphin as having a Gamecube controller. I wonder if it ignores the Wii Remote plugin's controller settings, or if we could unlock them at all. Comments are closed.
